PAT ALGER:

Pat Alger is a consummate singer/songwriter with 8 #1 hits and tens of millions of records sold to his credit. He first gained notice as part of the creative community in Woodstock, N.Y. working with Happy and Artie Traum, John Sebastian, and others. He toured with the Everly Brothers for years, as Pat's instrumental skills landed him the guitar slot playing alongside Albert Lee in the band.

As a songwriter, Pat has enjoyed an illustrious career with cuts by The Everlys, Dolly Parton, Nanci Griffith, Trisha Yearwood, and four #1's with Garth Brooks, including the monster hit, "The Thunder Rolls" with sales of over 40 million to date.

Trisha Yearwood's quote about Pat sums it up: "He is an incredible songwriter. I loved "Like We Never Had A Broken Heart" from the first time I heard it because it is about real life. Pat Alger writes from the heart, and I believe every word."

RALPH MURPHY:

The irrepressible Mr. Murphy covers a lot of ground in his world travels through the music industry. His career began in the mid-60's as a producer and songwriter in his native England. Migrating to Canada, Ralph scored success producing demos for Broadway productions in New York, and gold albums for legendary Canadian rockers April Wine.

In the early 70's Ralph had a #1 hit with Jeannie C. Riley of "Harper Valley PTA" fame, and decided to stick around Nashville. As a writer, he has had many hits, notably "Half The Way" for Crystal Gayle, and the #1 "He Got You" with Ronnie Milsap. As co-owner of Pic-A-Lic Publishing, he was instrumental in the success of over 20 #1 hits.

Since the mid-90's Ralph has been a Vice-President of ASCAP and sits on many boards and committees dealing with songwriting and publishing issues, giving symposiums and workshops, and making the world a better place through music. Few have had a more varied or rewarding career than Ralph Murphy.

TIA SILLERS:

Tia Sillers is arguably the hottest songwriter in Nashville if not the world today. Her recent smash "I Hope You Dance" recorded by Lee Ann Womack is the biggest hit of the 21st Century, capturing the Triple Crown of a Grammy, CMA and ACM Song Of The Year awards and is well on its way to becoming an enduring classic. With Mark Selby she wrote "There's Your Trouble", "Blue On Black" and another Kenny Wayne Shepherd hit "Dejavoodoo".

Tia has also had hits with Pam Tillis, George Ducas and Wynonna, as well as the new Tammy Cochran single "I Cry".

MARK SELBY:

Oklahoman Mark Selby juggles dual careers as a hit songwriter and popular recording artist with class and aplomb.

As a writer Mark has had Grammy success with the Dixie Chicks' "There's Your Trouble" which is on the best selling country album of all time, "Wide Open Spaces". With bluesman Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Mark's "Blue On Black" was Billboard Rock Song of the Year, and stayed atop the charts for an incredible 18 weeks, the longest tenure since some guys named the Beatles did it.

His Vanguard Records CD "More Storms Comin" enjoys strong worldwide sales, and the Mark Selby Band recently toured Europe with Jeff Beck. Mark goes back into the studio to begin work on his next solo project, and continues to churn out hits with songwriting partner Tia Sillers.
